Given that several people who have never even set foot in the café are now promoting a series of mass negative reviews, motivated by an extremely superficial TikTok video, I decided to leave here one of the most honest reviews you can receive. I discovered Café Cariño in 2017, thanks to a then-colleague named Gustavo. At that time, there was little talk about specialty coffees in Goiânia, but Gustavo was already an enthusiast. Everything he knew he had learned from Arthur and Cris at Café Cariño and he passed it on to us with affection. From a colleague, Gustavo became a great friend, my best friend, a life companion I never imagined having. Café Cariño became our favorite place to celebrate birthdays, our meeting point on Thursdays and, sometimes, the place to enjoy live jazz on Fridays. Religiously, for years, we were there. Until Gustavo passed away, unexpectedly. After his departure, I continued to frequent and learn—not only about coffee, but also about chocolate and anything else Arthur wanted to learn and share. Now Cris's cup collection has more space, and Caseirinho remains incredible, as it always was. I never stopped going. I never stopped feeling at home. I never stopped learning. I like to sit alone, listen to the soft jazz from the playlist that always plays, and watch the birds among the many plants. I love the whole team, the old saxophone on the wall, the best brownie in town, and, of course, the palm heart pie. Thank you for all these years of Café Cariño. Never, never forget your path. I love you all.

The café has an unparalleled grandma's house vibe! For what it aims to offer, it's very well aligned, and you can feel all the warmth of a rustic, welcoming environment, just like a grandmother's house! There are several antique elements, and the café becomes a delightful museum to visit. The waiters' service is exceptional, and the energy is perfectly balanced with the place! I had some difficulty parking, but I soon discovered a few parking spaces belonging to the café itself on the side. The food was excellent, and although simple, it had wonderful seasoning!

Many types of coffee. If you like acidic coffee I suggest the "Café Cítrico". The Corn cake is also very good.
